Negotiations

As many of you may know I enjoy the study of negotiations. I think a fair amount of people wish they knew more about such as negotiations but never thought to learn more about them.  I want to help others learn about the power of negotiation technique and I figured reviewing negotiations coaching tools would be a good place to start. But really, this is just a starting point. In the near future I will unveil a whole website dedicated to Negotiations and topics related to them. For now a review will suffice.

For this review I started from scratch and I googled ‘negotiations’.  At this point we are hoping to see what the internet thinks about negotiations. I clicked the first sponsored link I saw with the intent of reviewing the information offered. Thus we have a short review of the Win Squared software package.

Part 1 - Product Overview - Win Squared Software

At the core Win Squared is a software program that walks you through basic negotiations training and then helps you set up a negotiations plan for specific negotiations you will be making. You can download the program directly or order a CD. The program comes in two flavors. Win Squared Professional contains four tools to help you prepare and plan for serious negotiations and complex sales. The Full Plan, Profiler, Quick Plan, and Problem Solver tools are included with this package and costs you $199.95. The Win Squared Executive contains just the Quick Plan and Problem solver while costing $129.95.

The software itself feels a bit outdated and I would appreciate an improved navigation system. The product seems to be broken into mini products making some things more difficult to quickly find. Once you get to an area it is fairly straight forward and simple to do tasks. This is really a by product of the screens being simple and uncluttered.

When I designed this website I had the full intention of having good quality content posted rather often. Right now I am working towards wrapping up a few projects that consume vast amounts of time and leave me not so excited to create things for this site. However I still want to keep lorenv.com fresh until I finish these projects!

I am thinking about making a Link of the Day to stories of interest. Yeah, I just may do that. In fact I am going to do that. Right Now.

 Presenting the first ever -

Link of the Day!

PS I would love to have people submit their own links and material for me to post.

So here is my newest website in action. The idea is to finally have a central hub for all the various facets of my life. If my name is on it or I find ‘it’ interesting ‘it’ will come through here. Over the course of the next week I will link up my various projects to satisfy all of you snoops. I also plan to put varied and hopefully quality posts and articles up on a regular basis. See my categories on the side bar for topics you might find covered. I have made a layout design I am fairly happy with at this point so let me know how well it is working for you and if the load times are doing ok.

Alas, No first post would be complete without a sweet picture my sister, Alysha, took last summer. Clearly she is a professional (and available for hire).
